PearsBaked pears with yoghurt

Serves: 4 Time: 20 minutes


  • 4 ripe pears
  • 200g Greek-style yoghurt


  1. Preheat the oven to 180ºC/ (350ºF) or gas mark 4.
  2. Peel the pears, cut them in half and remove the cores.
  3. Put the pears hollow side up in a baking dish.
  4. Bake for about 10 minutes.
  5. Put a spoonful of yoghurt on top of each pear half.

If you don’t want to use them straight away you can let the pears cool down after step 4 and pop them in  freezer.  You can put the yoghurt on them when you reheat them.
