Carrot and apple mash

Serves: 4 portions Time: 20 minutes


  • 2 medium-sized carrots
  • 1 eating apple
  • 4tbsp milk (you can use whole cow’s milk, breast milk or infant formula milk )


  1. Peel and slice the carrots and the apple.
  2. Boil the carrots in a saucepan of water for about 10 minutes.
  3. Add the apple and simmer until the carrots and apple are soft. Drain off any remaining water.
  4. Mash the carrots and apple with the milk.

When cool you can divide any leftovers into individual portions and freeze.
