can order Healthy Start vitamins by the case from NHS Supply Chain free of delivery charges. Deliveries can be made to multiple delivery points, normally at no extra charge.
- children’s drops, a case = 12 bottles
- women’s tablets, a case = 6 bottles.
In exceptional circumstances, e.g. very remote locations, a small delivery charge may be incurred, to be agreed with the customer in advance.
For organisations not listed, a minimum order value of £150 per order may be applied (but no delivery charge would apply).
Every quarter, organisations who have supplied the vitamins to families supported by Healthy Start in exchange for green vitamin coupons should download a claim form here. This form will need to be completed, showing how many bottles have been given out and signed by the Director of Finance (or equivalent) of the commissioning organisation (whether it is a CCG, LA, or NHS England). The signed form should then be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org. NHS Supply Chain will reimburse the purchasing organisation.
1.) Organisations order Healthy Start vitamins from NHS Supply Chain directly
2.) Organisations send in a completed claim form to NHSBSA each quarter
Please note that only the actual cost of Healthy Start vitamins distributed to women and children supported by Healthy Start will be reimbursed. This excludes any administration or additional charges.
