You can update your details online if you currently get Healthy Start payments and either:
- Universal Credit
- Child Tax Credit
It’s important to keep your details up to date so we can make sure you’re being paid correctly.
If you do not get Universal Credit or Child Tax Credit
You cannot update your details online.
You need to contact us by phone or email to tell us about any changes in your circumstances if you currently get Healthy Start payments and get:
- Income-based Jobseeker’s Allowance
- Income Support
- Pension Credit with the child addition
Tell us about a new pregnancy or child
You can update your claim online if you’re currently getting Healthy Start payments and you need to add a new:
- pregnancy
- baby or child – you may have recently given birth, or become responsible for an older child under 4
Universal Credit claimants
If you’re adding a new child under 4 to your Healthy Start claim, you need to tell Universal Credit about your new child (opens in a new tab) before we can start making payments.
If you need to make another change
Let us know by phone or email if there’s any other changes in circumstances that might affect your Healthy Start claim. For example, if you need to:
- change your name or address
- change the name of any children on your claim
- stop your payments for a pregnancy or a child

If your card has been lost, damaged or stolen
Call 0300 330 2090 if your card has been lost, damaged or stolen. When you call, you’ll need your:
- date of birth
- 10 digit client ID – you can find this on any letters, emails or text messages we’ve sent you
